Well my cousin has a '90 crx si and his check engine light is on, so we locate his ecu and it has a red led that blinks 9 times. Is this led suppost to blink or is it the code for the cel it threw? Any help is appreciated thanx.

Yeah the LED will flash. Code 9 is the Cylinder position sensor in the Distributor. B4 I would get a new distributer I would reset the ECU by pulling the hazard and ECU fuses for about 15 seconds and replace them then drive it around to see if it does it again
