My friend has them in his GS-R, it is the GS-R from Import Tuner they put the Venom Nitrous kit and Intake manifold etc in, and he loves them. Group 5 also talks highly of them as well. I find that most people like them because they have 5 points rather than 3 like the AEM. Less chance of slipping they say.

I have them. Get them degreed before installation, the markings are off.

Mine were degreed just fine. Dyno testing for best setting doesn't care about where the markings are.

Had them for 20K and there are fine. The markings are not the best.

Oh not to say there will be any "problems" with the gears. But basically they aren't always degreed properly so when you put them on and baseline your car at "0, 0" the cams will not actually be in the stock position. You'll dyno different from just installing them so basically you don't get a true baseline. This may or may not be important to some people.

Also running higher duration cams with little cam adjustment room to play with, you don't want to be nearing the limit and then find out the cam gear was off 2-3 degrees and smash a valve. Again this may or may not apply to everyone.

I got my car tuned at Dynamic Autosports and Aries degreed my gears just as part of the tuning process and he did find one of them to be advanced 2 degrees and the other to be retarded 1 degree while at the "0" position, so consistancy is definitely not Skunk's strong point.
