ive asked a couple of ppl and one said yes and the other said no. im asking this because the abs unit is leaking and im too poor to fix it right away.

 

If your're asking if your car will run...yes. Brakes will work fine, just your ABS will not work.

If its making a whining noise or just not working, disconnect it. You can drive around and wait till you can fix it, or just dont bother.

 

Thats what I did with mine until I fixed it.

 

how do u know if its broken?? i havent bothered to smash on my brakes, but it does whine everytime i start my car.. thats normal tho right?

 

I have been driving my 95LS with the ABS light on for about 5 years now

 

doesnt that light bother you?, friend of mine had the same problem so he took the abs bulb out when he changed his gauge lights. lol

 

Yeah the abs light is going on and off and its making a weird noise. Sorry I should have been more clear, is it ok if I removed the complete abs unit from the vehicle. will it run fine w/o abs completely taken out? Also the abs unit is leaking.

all the parts i put on my civic were abs but i didnt have a abs unit so I just pulled allt he sensors off and it worked fine just like regular integra brakes without abs...so you should have no problems...i pulled the unit out on my gsr and that worked fine too.

well my SRS light would be lonely with a bud (; hehe nahh im gonna get around to fixing the problem with the rear right sensor one of these days
