Highest streetable compression ratio for NA ITR
I tried doing a search beforehand. I've spoken to a few local performance workshops that normally work on GTR's and silvia's and Supra's etc. So the majority of them have little expreience with high reving, small capacity (under 2 litres) Japanese engines.
I have my car tuned on 93 octane fuel ( Apex'i Power FC), current CR is 11.5:1. I've been told by the place that did my tuning that 12.5:1 is the highest I could potentially go. Any higher and they said they would have to advance the ignition timing too high and the midrange would suffer.
So my question stands, is 13.0:1 ( or even 13.5) streetable on 93 octane fuel with out any octane booster top ups every time I fill up the tank?

Define streetable
You have your tuning methods backwards. The higher the compression the LESS ignition timing you use on the same octane gas. So they meant your ignition timing would be retarded thus being too low.
I believe SGT runs around daily with 13:1 but he runs a hondata and is very good at tuning. for the gains and the hassle you're better off with 11.5:1, trust me.

Perhaps you could talk to Technik Tuning in Melbourne, they have done some high compression engines. Also talk to Adrian at Toda Racing Australia as he has built some honda engines.
