acura body shops any good?
Just wondering what people think about taking my R to an acura bodyshop to get my front bumper re-painted....
The last place i went to did a good job at first but after a year the color darkened and I'm not satisfied with the color match anymore....
I'm wondering if an acura body shop would do good work....anyone have any experiences?

My Acura Dealer has a shop but it's through the Honda dealer they are affiliated with. Odds are the dealers work is going to be better than Jim Bobs Auto Repair and Bait Shop but just because it's the dealer don't expect top notch work.
After I got my car back from the dealer body shop I was not entirely satisfied. Biggest complaint is the paintjob. There is some pretty bad orange peel a big spot on the rear quarter panel. I'm gonna buff it out one of these days. The lesson here is to do your research and find a good shop, just don't blindly go to the dealer assuming they will do good work.

Go to shop that backs their work. Most shop offer a lifetime warranty against fading, cracks, bubbling, etc., As for paint not matching, you might have to ask the shop themselves about that.
possible in canada, they outsource here as well. Good thing its a good bodyshop (Fantastic Finishes!) they rock. I hate taking my car to acura to be seviced here though, they always break something!
