another damn jdm headlight question...
for those of you have the jdm conversion WITH factory HID, how did you mount the ballast on the driver side? i bent the ac lines out of the no problem, but than now the washer fluid bottle is in the way. did you just unbolt it and push it back? help a brother here!
This is what I did. While the fender and everything is off. Just unbolt the bottle from the side where it's anchored into the car. Then just push on it til it moves back to where you want it. Then just bolt the headlight in. The bottle won't go anywhere. It might sound kinda like a "hack" thing to do but it worked for me. My friend and I did it ourselves using Mase's post about a month ago
call up steve at passwordjdm (he may be in japan ri now) and get a jdm washer bottle

Geez guys use a little ingenuity
Get these tools:
Heat Gun
Permenant Marker
Piece of Angle Iron a couple of inches long
Some Heat resistant Gloves
Make a mark on the Bottle for where the Bottom of the ballast would be and another for aprximately how far back the ballast has to go (add about 1/8th-1/4 of an inch more just in case you need the space)
Take the bottle out, Slowly Heat up the section with the heat gun until the plastic is somewhat soft, Wearing your gloves take the 90degree Angle iron and form the soft plastic so that the ballast will fit, you may need to reheat the plastic a few times to get the perfect L Shape bent into it.
