Default Throttle Body

Do they actually make a 72mm throttle body? Someone told me edelbrock did and i called and they told me the biggest they make is a 65mm. Thanks in advance...

Erick's racing sells a 72-70mm (tapered) throttle body. Spoon makes a 70mm throttle body that tapers to 62mm , I believe. Holly and BBK also make throttle bodies. There are others out there as well, I am sure.

any ideas to which would be the best. meaning has all plugs needed etc. like it doesnt have to be a spoon to perform like one...i think...anyway...which would be the most cost effective to get...tia

if you have a 1.8L 62mm is all you need.

i doubt any of you would ever need anything larger than 68mm

if you get the BBK 70mm, you just re-use your stock sensors.

Spoon has 70-62mm and you can fit a Nissan TB for 80-80 but you need to custom sensors.

Don't forget. No matter what kinda T/B you get, the intake manifold has to be extrude honed for port matching reasons.
