Default Comparing Adjstable Cam Gears

I'm doing my shopping to buy an adjustable cam gear for my F22B1. I will install it in about a month from now, while I change my timing belt. I have compared prices with different brand names, prices are not what should be discussed since they don't have anything to do with the US market, or at least not that I know of.

What I want to know is, which is best quality for the price, and are there any I should stay away from, and if there are other makes I don't know of, please tell me.

Here goes what I have obtained so far:
-AEM adj. cam gear: $335 CAN
-Unorthodox adj. cam gear: 25% higher than AEM
-Ayame: $250 CAN
-Onsoku: $189 CAN

Is there anything that justifies such a price gap? Which one should I go for?

I got my AEM for about $120 american, I don't know what that is in canadian. Works great, smooth gears, and precise degrees laser etched into the aluminum.

My AEM has held up to a beating and then some. Its an old style with 3 allen screws and does the job.

Dont let the horror stories of them slipping bother you. If you know how to tighten them, it'll hold as much power as the timing belt can if not more.

SKUNK2 is the best for the money, they can be found at groupbuycenter.com sometimes for under $100 USD.

I heard that Hayame was good. About 6-10% increase in power and they come with the Honda Key that you need. I think import-store.com sells em.

you won't see much power unless you have a cam and have it dyno tuned.

I have the Skunk2 CAM Gear, and I got my car dyno tuned. I have it set to -2 degree's and I gained about 10 hp at the top. I am pushing 139 hp and 140 tq to the wheels right now ... not bad for a F22b1

Yeah, I know about this, and it is for an eventual dyno tune that I'm shopping for it.

So far, AEM is recommended. But Ayame and Onsuku are still "?", but the price is attractive, are they worth what they are worth, or are they a good quality, proving that AEM is true to it's reputation, selling high price for their name brand?

What's the opinion on the STR cam gear. I'm looking at one for my rebuild.
