Locks of love: California-based Hot Rod racer Mike Laskey and team manager Art "Arturbo" Ortiz are growing their hair out and will donate it through Locks of Love to cancer patients who lose their hair as the result of chemotherapy treatment.

"I just wish I could do more," said Laskey. "My hair is pretty long now, but Art has a long ways to go. I was going to look into how I might be able to spend some time at the hospitals with those children. It really does break my heart."

No prob man whatever I can do. My hair dosent grow as fast as it used to ever sense the accident I had earlier this year that left me with my perminant Honda symbol'd scar on my head. But slowly but surely.-pdang

man, if only I didn't bux my hair every 3-4 weeks...I might do it though

 

on a side note, its saves money on razors and hair cuts plus when you do get your hair cut, they have locations that will cut it for free.

 

I really have a long way to go. I do have a pic and I'll post it up later.

I cut off about 2 1/2 feet of hair this summer and sent it to Locks of Love. Now I take a Mach3 to my head every few days.

damn...2 1/2 feet, now thats crazy. I dont think I could go that long...that must have taken like 5 years.

 

I had it long for about 5 years..I could grow it back in 1 1/2 to 2 years though. My hair grows really fast.
