just curious what my quarter mile time is right now. i was wondering if there's an easier way to get that info w/o buying a dyno or being real good buddies with someone who owns one?
spend $140 on a G-Tech meter and get a good idea on how fast your car will be... the hard part might be finding a safe place to make the runs.

you're right, mind-fart, but since it was brought up, is there any other way to measure horses other than the dyno?

Just go to Texas Motorplex in Ennis & check when they are having a local event. A "Run what cha brung" thing. I think there also is a track in Mansfield but its not 1/4 mile.
