Default newbi Question!

im from Australia and was curious to the license laws for bike riders in USA. Can learners there actually ride something larger than a 250??

Also what do u think of the CBR600 F4i for a beginner? will a twist of the throttle on that bike send the nose upwards? im so in love with the Rossi Repica its so damn sexy!!

I'm in Canada, but i think are licencing methods are very similar....anyways, the day you get your learners permit you can go out and but any bike you want.....So for example a 16 year old kid can go buy a GSXR 1000 for his first bike.....There is no graduated licencing....so if you can afford to pay the ridiculous insurance premiums, you can drive whatever you want...Kinda stupid eh!!!!

Exactly that.

It's kinda sad actually, because it means we don't end up with any of the NICE smaller displacement bikes. Just the cheap ones.

The days of FZR400's and the like are long gone here in the states, from a manufacturer's point of view.

You can clutch wheelie just about any bike you want with a suspension bounce & weight transfer. Just check out superbike. They wheelie all kinda crazy things.

I used to follow the Aprilia RS-50 boards (i want to buy one someday..) And somebody even wheelied one of those things (modded to 75cc and with a different carb and chamber)
