Default I can use this gauge cluster, right?

I just bought (won) this from ebay as a replacement for my 90 civic si. The tach in my original cluster doesn't move accurately with the rpm change, so i need a new one. But i just noticed that the cluster i won redlines at 5. I have reverse indiglo gauges, which show the redline at 6.5, so of course i'll be laying them over the stock gauges, but there really is no difference between the two clusters, except for the way the gauges are printed, correct? I'm looking at this picture and the only other difference i see from my original cluster is the extra indicator light at the bottom left hand corner, which has a white outline around it. I can still use this as a replacement with no problem, right?

That is a CRX HF cluster, I think it is plug and play, Because I think an Si is a plug and play for me and I have an HF

88-89 cluster will not fit in 90 -91's and 90-91 wont fit 88-89's. Just make sure the cluster matches your cars years
EDIT: Just saw you have a 90 sorry ..

if using indiglo gauges just pull the bulbs out of the cluster, that way you wont get "shadows" of anything behind the gauges especially the 5100 redline.

here is a little more info on clusters. The 88 si and the 89 lx 4 door clusters are the same. The 89 si clusters are year specific. The 90-91 clusters all interchange. More info than anyone probably wanted to know.

i have a 89 SI cluster for sale. hehe.
yeah a HF will work in your DX OR SI? as long as its the same year. if not then you will have to do a few mods. and yes its just printed, it will not change your rev limit or anything. it will just look nuts when your 2 or 3000 RPM's over the HF rev limit. hehe
