Camber Kit
I recently had my 94 ex lowered and the mechanic at the shop told me that I should not have bought the cambers for it. I lowered it 2 inches. He said that he could have bent something in the front that would have been just as good. I am aware of the longer bolt and washer trick in the back, but I have never heard anyone talk about being able to correct the camber in the front by bending something. Does this sound right?
I'm with you on all accounts... He told me today he wanted to remove the cambers and bend the control arms to stop them from hiting the inside of the wells (which is causing the clicking I am guessing) I opted for the NO and took my car back, never to return again.. (at least he took the grease stains out of my seats this time...) He also said the noise could be coming from the part of the coilover where the spring hits at the bottom, where it adjusts.... ??? possible?? It still clicks... after all that..... I'm fed up!!
Actually, I'm not sure. I had them installed at a local shop. I would hope they are in the right way.... I honestly did not have the tools or the knowhow to do it. How can I tell by looking a them?? I am not sure if the springs are resting correctly either...??
