I have an extra F22 throttle body and I want to bore it out. I don't have the money to have it done professionally and I was wondering if anyone here has done it on there own? If so, how'd you do it and what did you use?

never did it but here is the problem I see.

you have to get it perfectly round and the bore has to be straight. so you would need some sort of drill press and a very large bit.

how are you going to make a new, larger throttle plate.

cheaper than boring it, would be getting a used H22/H23/ITR/S2K TB

I could do it with access to a mill and proper cutter, however making the plate would be a different story.
