i've driven an accord f22b1 with fmax turbo and it makes very nice torque numbers at a relatively low rpm. stick with the accord tranny when boosting, the longer gear ratios lets you stay in boost for a much longer time compared to the prelude trannies...

Go FMAX. Drag is over rated. Never seen a drag kit put out what my Fmax kit does.

Drag has lower quality components and fitment.

I paid $3600 for the fmax kit

you dont want an H series tranny with a turbo unless you have extended your rev range significantly

that one is actually mine...the drag 4... http://www.importparts.com

to those doggin the drag... i've had no problems with my drag kit and the fitment is great. i will get to a dyno soon. maybe b4 the end of january. so we'll see what kind of numbers it puts out. plus the drag is about 600 dolalrs cheaper or so for about the same quality.

cant really see the manifold from that....
here's a better shot

i was thinking of getting the f-max because only the drag 2 existed for the accords... i have to admit the drag 2 sucked.. but they greatly improved for the higher generations.

looking at prices and whatnot, and seeing pictures..
seems like the Drag is a hell of a better deal then the f-max.
like accordfreak said, 600 dollars is a hella lot to save.

For those with Drag kits, did you order then direct from Drag? If not where did you order/ buy it from?

sidenote: i just got my webcam installed today, along with my aem camgear, aem fuel rail, accel plugs and my 2.5 mendrel bent exhaust piping with my turbo flow Apex N1 muffler.. I have the load ready for the Turbo Kit,, this is the reason im asking alot of questions.

exactly, but for most cases the person doesn't really have any major engine work to extend the revrange. that is why the f22 tranny is better for an almost stock motor, longer gear ratios=longer time using boost in each gear.

If I remember correctly his car was the prototype, so I assume he got it cheaper.

yes i did get it cheaper because they used my car for the prototype.

turbo is a t3/t04b
I'm pushing around 5psi...once i install my fuel system i'll be pushing 10psi and that's when i'll dyno tune my car...

ben has really good prices from time to time... it ranges from this one time $2700 to $2880.
