well, the two h22s that are sposed to be lude type s motors at the shop have red valve covers... probly euro accord Rs. look at the intake manifold, single stage runner design (like integ type r vs integ gsr) US ludes have the dual stage runners.
theres a difference in the fuel rails than the us spec, and the iac has an extra wire than the us spec... hth

got pix to compare the two as in whatever that is different. like the manifold or whatever.. engine code should be a h22a w/ no number correct? this is for my bro, his car is a 93..

correction, only the EURO came with Single runner, which is rare, every other type-s is like the prelude motor, the head is marked PCB instead of p13, which is basically a F20B head.
obd2 only !
that's another way

The Prelude TypeS has a block stamp of "H22A", the valve cover is red, and the oil filter sticks up at an angle (just like the US TypeSH) to accomodate the ATTS unit. All other H22As would have the oil filter sticking straight out perpendicular to the engine block. The Prelude TypeS uses a dual-runner intake manifold just like all other VTEC Preludes.

THe easiest way to tell is to pull the valve cover and measure the cams.
