I just finished with my swap today(b18a1 into 88 hatchback. Today was the first day we got to drive it. The engine is hesitating when you go to start off. Now then, the ecu is spitting code one, and after you warm it up it is spitting one long with five little short ones. Does this mean(one long with five little short ones)it is code 15. There is not a pause in between the long one and the five short ones, if this indeed does mean code 15 what do i need to do to fix it. I think code 15 is Ignition output signal. Please any help would be great. Thanks

 

my d series did the same thing and i had to buy a new ignitor it was about 70 bucks

 

where is the igniter located? is that found in the distributor? sorry i'm not very familiar w/ the electrical aspect to a car.
