can i use USDM bearings ont he mainshafts of the JDM trannies? im getting some bearing noise in there and wanna know how much troubgle it woulod be to fix...

 

i would also like to know if you can use USDM jarts for the JDM Y1 tranny i need sincrows

 

i feel ya too. i got a S1 tranny and i wanted to find out where i can get me a set. i hear you can import some synchros over from japan. or i wonder if the 90-91 integra synchros will work? yeah yeah yeah i know they are ls tho. but i wonder?

 

do search in the best buy archives i know some dude was selling some jdm synchros, pretty good price too

 

the most common fix i hear ablout, for the y1/s1 synchros is to use the 90 ls ones. I know for sure, that the bearings from a 90 ls tranny, will fit in a jdm S1/y1 tranny!

 

guys, the USDM synchros wont fint onto an JDM main shaft/counter shaft without modification. ive ben told a competent transmission guy can do the mods, but i dont know. i just wanna dot he bearings in mine, as the are really noisy in 5th,and needed to know if they fit.
