Default Help with slick sizes and drag wheels (Search was useless)

The setup goes as follows: 93' Civic hatch w/H22a, t3/t4 setup making 330whp. Integra 5 lug conversion and driveshaftshop stage 5 axles.

Can anybody tell me what size slick to use when HP is 300-500? Also does anybody use Volk TE37's as drag wheels? Can you tell me the pros and cons between say Bogarts and Volks.

you want the M&H, 24.5x8". if you make over 300 ft/lbs of torque, maybe the 25"s. whats will be your rev limit??

Not sure of the rev limit yet, it's still got the stock valvetrain. Thanks for the help on the tire size.

at that HP, there are a few options.
you can start at a 24.5x8.5x13 or 15" M&H slick
but with different trans and motor setups, you can choose to bump up to a
25x8.7x13, 26x8x15, 26x8.5x15 or even a 27x8x15.

so with a 350-500hp range its really hard to recommend a perfect slick size. factors such as wheelie bars, rear tire height, suspension, etc can make a diff in choosing what is best for you.

as far as VOLK drag wheels, those are pretty cool and work really well like the other brands. Bogarts are easier to custom make for each racers' application since they can be made with different offsets and lug patterns that you request.

both are lightweight and i believe the bogarts might be little cheaper than the Volk 13x8 drag wheel.

I dont think that 13 inch wheels will clear the brakes. at a 15 inch rim you basically have a choice between 24.5 and 25 inch slicks. I guess 24.5x8 would be the smartest depending on tranny. If you have an ls tranny......get 22's lol

15" rim is what u have to use....13" will not clear...u are basically stuck w/ 26" and up

oh mah bad, you have ITR lug pattern. then for sure you cant use the TE37s unless they make it in the ITR 5 lug.
We have had BOGART lug pattern specially made for many ITR owners on the board so that should be no problem.

other thing to consider too is the fender clearance.. forgot about that. if this is a street car, you probably cant fit a 27" slick.
