ok.. looking for a little advise...
recently got an 03 accord ex coupe w/ factory 17"...
ordering my shocks & springs... (very slight drop)
ordering my cold air intake...
...but my dilemma is exhaust!
I HATE RICE. i don't want my car to appear as though it had been modified in any way... (with an exception.. the new bling bling front grill has to go). every exhaust i've seen in my area on rice-burners has 8" pipes & sounds like a damn broken lawnmower. i want a high performance system with a note just a few db above factory... does this exist??? cost is not a factor. please fill me in... your help is a'prec

Hey man. I drive a 91 accord and i have a twin exhaust (not dual exhaust, its like 2 pipes side by side...the older ex-rs had it but these pipes are a bit bigger). Its only an axle-back cuz thats all i could afford this year but suprisingly it sounds a lot different than a lot of the riced civics i see around my are with the like 10" opening exhausts that sound like a soggy wet fart can. i wouldnt reccomend my setup exactly for yours, but something kind of similar. Id focus a lot more on the Intake than exhaust cuz it gives you good sound as is. if you want, install a high-flow cat with a pipe thats maybe 1/2'-1' bigger than your normal exhaust piping and then a muffler, cuz i think that cat-back is a bit better for the newer accords.
Hope that helps even a lil. I may be full of **** i dunno that's just my preference.

BTW how is the 03 accord??? I live in ottawa and I havent seen one yet but the pics of it are amazing! is the ex the v6 or 4 cyl?? that will also change the ideas for exhaust.

you could go with a custom made exhaust and apply the same blackout to the pipes.....

 

WORLD SPORT. Trust me.......i EXACTLY know what kinda exhaust you're lookin for cause you're like many of my friends. World Sport is the way to go. Trust me on this.

 

where is Kteller8? He builds exhausts and may be able to help you out with something custom

Cant go wrong with WS..quiet and prove to make HP..not as much as EVo but
the noisez and ticketz are another factors...
