Default Cold Start Struggle

My Car has been having trouble starting up after being cold for a while. I park outside in 15 degree weather, and when i go to start the car, it struggles a bit, then starts up. Any suggestions, or is this sorta normal?

mine does this too aj --- it is pretty normal i beleive, i did think however that perhaps my battery might need replacing, because it has been happening in warmer weather as well sometimes.

I agree with changing the battery..

But I would also like to add that you should check and make sure that the battery posts are clean as well as the ground from the block. And if possible, check the connection to the Starter from the Battery.. Little things like dirty connections can seem like a battery problem in cold weather..

The colder the weather, the higher the amperage draw for the starter.. At 80 degrees, starter draw is 100%.. 30 degrees, starter draw is 150%.. 0 degrees, starter draw is 200%.. So if you've a old stock battery and it's hard to start in cold weather, it's most likely that the battery can't put out the needed amperage..

Enough said already.. I could go on forever but I'm not..

But anyways, whatever you do... Hope it helps..
