4 pt. harness on stock USDM seats...
I have a 2000 ITR with the stock USDM seats. I was wondering if it is possible to install 4 pt harnesses? If anyone of you have done it, can you post steps? Thanks.

very unnecessary for this, but if you do make sure you mount the top 2 straps to a harness bar so you don't submarine. but stock seats and seatbelts are much better if you don't plan on using a roll bar.
Isnt it true that you shouldnt even use harnesses UNLESS you have a roll cage/bar? The harnesses dont allow you to move, and in the event of a roll over, if you have no cage, the roof can cave in and you wont be able to move around(not that you can really control your movement during most roll overs), thus massive head injury. Thats just what I heard, and I was not going to get harnesses until I had a roll cage and the proper seats.
i put them on mine..... What a ****** waste of money and they are a pain in the *** to wear.... listen to what the guys said above stock works excellent
for autocross, the schroth harness works great. i would not recommend it for daily driving as it severly limits mobility inside the car. here is a pic inside an r, installed. I picked it up last december and will be using it this year for AutoX

THanks for the advice. I was just wondering because I really didn't want anyone in the rear seats and also I just thought it'd be better protection. I am convinced now though that I'm not going to get them. THanks...
