came to the following conclusionsSomething to ponder...
My job is boring to I think about turbos all day. Today I was thinking about MAP sensors for a couple hours and came to the following conclusions:
1-an engine will always take the same volume of air into the cylinder (excluding resonances)
2-the density of the air varies with throttle position
3-at certain RPMs resonances will force more/less air into the cylinder
4-MAP sensors measure the density of the air being drawn in
5-MAP sensors do not measure load, but just give one (of several) variable required to calculate load
-Dustin
my computer sucks alot!
