i was thinkin bout gettin either a skunk2 exhaust or GReddy SP...i've never seen any cars wit the GReddy SP so i wanna kno if they have a nice sound and HP gain...any feedback would be help

 

had an sp on my ek, fitment was perfect, but the way they designed the muffler, it points down, so it looks weird...sounds deep and its loud when you want and quiet when you want it, idles is nice, i did feel some better pickup while cruisin on the highway, but as for takin off i think it was the same if not a little better....great exhaust though

here is a pic of the sp on my hatch. the gains were cool and the sound is deep but very quiet compared to most other exhaust systems.

 

SP is mellow but has GREAT sound, I'm sold on it...I went from sp to tanabe super medallion and am ready to make the switch back...as far as the aesthetics, however, that is up to you if you like the look or not.

IMO....DO IT UP!

 

My friend has the skunk2 on his GSR and it's loud. It sounds raspy at high rpm's but it fit perfectly and it's cheaper than the SP.

 

Can you do a search next time?

There are 2-5 threads a week about the GReddy SP exhaust and how nobody knows anything about them.

I have one. It is quiet. It has a shiny muffler and a big shiny tip.

thanx for everyone for their suggestions...i'm not really much into the loudness of it as much as the performance

 

I think it sounded good and it was fairly quiet when I had it on my car, but I opted to take it off and go with 3" since I went turbo.

 

the greddy sp is great when I first got the exhaust then after a few years I noticed that it would on occasion would give a slight hint of raspy noise but that's about it. great build quality but my new RS*R exhaust system (oem style like the apexi ws) blows it out of the water. totally quiet. The rsr fits like a glove. They stop making the rsr awhile back (I think 3-4 years ago) but I found a shop that stil carries them and cheaper then the price I paid for the sp!!
