the steering wheel starts to shake when braking a little harder than normal what may be the cause of this? 90 accord

 

Warped rotors is one possibility.

 

You brakes are wearing out. Restore them or get new ones.

 

Another possibility is a bad wheel bearing.

 

Sounds like warped rotors to me. I have had this happen on both my 94 and 95 accords. Sometimes they get a hard spot on them that will not be able to be machined correctly. Probably need to replace them. See if your local dealership will machine them. Might do the trick. Much cheaper... Good luck
