I am about to go drop my 95 civic coupe in about an hour with lowring springs. should i replace the factory shocks, or just leave them? Please help. Thanks.

 

Depends on how low. Chances are though, since the car is 8 years old, those shocks are either busted already, or on their way out.

Lowering springs will kill them quicker as well. When I did springs, I got new shocks when I had everything apart.

i think i paid either $200 or $250 for Tokico Blues.

they ride really nice with a 2" drop.

until i can afford Tein... these are gonna have to do.

 

i replaced mine w/ KYB's ... if you don't replace them - i am pretty sure you will blow them out in a short matter of time! good luck

I had my stock shocks on my car for over a year with over a 2" drop. They were fine when I took them off.

 

i lowered my 93 hatch with stock shocks and lowering springs..

they dropped 2.25

kinda bumpy ride.. but i like

 

how did the car run?

 

i lowered my car 2 1/2'' and left the stock struts,shocks,on they only lasted 1 year, before they started to pop while turning the wheel. also someone pulled out in front of me, smashed up pretty good. couldv'e contributed to the shorter life of them.
insurence don't fix everything!
