lowering question????
I am about to go drop my 95 civic coupe in about an hour with lowring springs. should i replace the factory shocks, or just leave them? Please help. Thanks.
Depends on how low. Chances are though, since the car is 8 years old, those shocks are either busted already, or on their way out.
Lowering springs will kill them quicker as well. When I did springs, I got new shocks when I had everything apart.

i lowered my car 2 1/2'' and left the stock struts, shocks,on they only lasted 1 year, before they started to pop while turning the wheel. also someone pulled out in front of me, smashed up pretty good. couldv'e contributed to the shorter life of them.
