just wandering if anyone has one of these exhaust on their civics? Ive been thinking about getting one, but am not sure about the quality of this product, and the sound it gives out. From what i hear its pretty quiet, and i know its plain looking. Sort of like the apei ws. Any insite would be appreciated.

Haven't seen one for a long time, but the Skunk2 exhaust system is actually RSR. Very high quality

 

Skunk2 is carrying the RSR Invidia exhaust with the Skunk2 logo. It is a top notch exhaust. Quality is outstanding. 60mm piping and available fully polished. I just recently saw an RSR Invidia advertisement in Import Tuner, so maybe they're available again..

i had one on my civic. it looks nice. the sound was very quite nice deep quite hummm.

A friend of mine picked up a RSR exhaust straight from japan for his type R, from a local shop, it is a straight design, no bends from the cat back. It is damn loud, but it sounds so good.

 

my friend is putting one on his EK i'll or he'll keep you posted, w/ a swap to boot

 

I got one, 2.5" polished SS piping, 4" tip, its nice.

I have one I highly recommend it . I've had one for about three years no problems and its nice and quiet. And doesn't really stand out that much. I think if you get one you wil be happy with it.

 

Yes I own an RS*R Indivia, and its the best exhaust i've ever had... its pretty unnoticible... not loud, got a deep mellow low note... kinda guzzles, doesnt buzz... the flow of air is fantastic... u can feel a lotta horsepower freed right when u drive the car after installation... goodluck finding one, last i heard, Racing Beat was importing them, but it was discontinued because people werent into performance, they wanted chrome ugly buzzers... the RS*R is pretty costly, i got mine from my uncles muffler shop, it was used, so free for me, but goodluck finding one, it deserves...

well i just snaped some quick pics now i'm gonna be late for work, o well, it was painted flat black but the paint started chipping so i got some paint thinner, aventually it well be painted flat black again

i have a friend with an rsr exhaust on an ej8 civic...its pretty deep but quiet somehow...but its never gonna be louder than an apexiWS

 

ahhhhhhhh 2.5 inch piping? You mean 2.25". All old school RS*R exhausts are 2.25. Maybe Skunk2 Invidia in 2.5, but I don't think so.

 

I'm pretty sure the Skunk2 exhausts are rebadged RSR exhaust systems.

 

Another alternative to an RS*R exhaust, if you're looking for quietness is the Apex-i WS. It's a good quiet exhaust for N/A or low boost applications...I don't think the tubing is big 'nuff for heavy boost applications, but it looks nice and is quiet. A thing to keep in mind, the original RS*R exhausts from a few years back are notorious for rusting out...

Long gone are the days of nasty Fireball exhausts giving you headaches just by cruisin' to the local mickie deez. Thank god I never bought one of those... yuck

 

the skunk is not 2.5 either, it is 60mm which is like 2.3....

Yea if you like crappily designed products that rub agianst your gas tank eventually exposing a hole in your tank. i will never own another apexi product because of this.
they had to be cheap and design an exhaust that SORTA Fits TWO generations of Civics.
Apex-Integration = ****.

from what ive heard the comptech is nice... looks stock and is prett quite wile making good power...

i want an sms 2.5 straight through, quiet, looks stock
