i have a high performance manifold for the d16y8 however on the stck one the IACV(idle air control valve) bolts dircetly to the rear quater of the manifold. however, on the hgh performance on there is absoultly no spot what so evr to bolt this too. what should i do whith this valve since there's no spot for it . can i just adhesive it to it ??? please let me know if you think it can just be tig welded to it either or does this valve need an opening in the manifld where it connect or is it bolted on the manifold strictly just for bracketing it too it????

 

it needs an opening because that's how your engine gets air to idle.

 

so am i expected to drill through this billet aluminum manifold an make my own spot to bracket it shouldn't it have came for a spot for this??
