i just finished installing my apexi n1 and it is right in my bumper i mean it i start it and drive it around i think it will melt the paint on my bumper, i was thinking of bending my hangers but with what any suggestions would help.

mess with the rubber hangers and they will fit without rubbing. Or I've heard other people buy some aftermarket rubber hangers. Mine rubbed at first, but was fixed after altering the hangers.

 

how do you alter rubber i was just going to bend the metal that the hangers go on

 

remove the heat shields too...should help a bit with clearance.

 

I have an apexi n1. it fits perfect. The muffler is like 2 cm from the bumper, but it doesnt touch. dont worry about how close it is. all my friends that have the N1 sit like that. it will be okay

 

I wonder if there are longer rubber hangers you can buy. Or stick a heat refective tape along the underside of the bumper.

 

you can either bent the hangers or change to harder/longer bushings
