rear speakers in a hatch?
I recently heard that a dealer option was to install 2 rear speakers into the hatchback models. So I did a search on it and found some posts, but no pics. I was just wondering if someone could post some pics or tell me where to find some of the rear speaker mounts? I have also found the speaker wires in my hatch to attach it too, but I have no idea what it looks like.

yeah, it was a dealer option
all they are is a piece of plastic that mount on top of the the little trays beside each window. it screws onto there and on top of the bracket it was a 6.5" hole for a speaker.
by "pice", I assume you mean pics, if you do, what kinda pics do you want? just an overall look? let me know cause I have the mounts in my civic, have a digital camera, and a garage so its not too cold to take pics
let me know what you want and I'll go take em

i believe they go for about 50 bucks for the two parts, they go on the sides of the trunk cover...in all honesty there is no need for them, it wont make you sound staging any better, and your better off with your mids and highs up front, and you lows only in the back...
I got mine from a local wrecking yard. mine are black, and I have blue interior, but it doesn't look too bad, cause the trim around my radio and everything are black too.
the only reason I got them is because I have people in my backseats every once and a while, and its really hard to hear music from back there just from the front speakers. I can hear them a bit from the front, although it really didn't make a whole lot of a difference for me, a little bit, but its more just for the passengers. Honda didn't really put them in the best place, they should have put them on the sides of the backseat or something, but oh well.
and I got mine for free too, so thats alright
oh, and heres a few pics

You can find them on ebay everyonce in a while as well, but usually they go for to much. I bought a parts car and they had the brackets for the speakers and decided to use them. All in all I really like having the back speakers to me there is a big difference in sound. IMO if you can get some for cheap its worth it.
