hey hey hey.
my winter car is a 88 CRX with a b16 swap with LSD trans, not sure if its Y1 or s1 or whatever, but it does have LSD. approx 50k on enigne/trans
so check this out.
when the engine/trans is cold, like when i just start it and take off, it will shift perfect with no grinding or hesitation, and ive been shifting fast when its cold just to see,,, after it warms up it will grind 4th,,consistantly,, pretty badly too, and only at higher RPMs, like 4000 on up. if im comming out of 3rd, ill hold the clutch in for 3 secs,, then shift into 4th and the fawker will still grind.
now, i havnt changed or checked the fluid level since i bought it,, the dork prolly has 10-30 in it,,, i only use HONDa MTF,, could low fuild levels or the wrong oil cuase these problems??? or is it that the pre oBD trannies suck *** that badly? thanks to all that can give me some hints/insight on my problems. later

 

You should change your tranny oil.
