Default h22a or h23 vtec?

im thinking of either building an h23 vtec (h22 vtec head),or just dropping an h22a1. i hear h22s are more reliable than h23s but i dunno. id like to see an h23 VTEC dyno and compare both. also, id like to know what intake would provide the most power. im thinking of injen but i dunno...plz contact me with info on the h22 or h23. thanks

no one has a stock h23 vtec dyno, becuase it's a custom hybrid. Unless you're an engine builder I would just drop the stock H22a VTEC

hmm...i dont think it would be TOO hard to put an h22 head on an h23 block..but hey...ill think about it.

actually there is a stock h23 vtec...it comes out of a jdm 99 accord wagon. I could prob get the complete swap for around 2350 if you're interested. From my research, puts out same amount of hp but at 6800 instead of 7200 and if you could do the conversion 22.5kg i think to get the torque to pds. Just do a search on google for jdm accords for more specs

yeah I know I just didn't mention it becuase most people haven't heard of it. 4th gens make peak hp at 6800 as well. the H23 VTEC would also make more torque and earlier in the powerband. You can get it for like $1900 from Osaka.
