How do you remove old pin stripes?
When I got my 96 accord about 2 yrs ago, I told them to remove the pin stripes. They TRIED and said that it has been on so long that removing it will create scratches to the car. Alright screw it. But now I really dont like it on my black car. How can I get it off safely? Im sure they didnt try hard in the first place.
Thanks
Thanks
Here's what I did:
Take a razorblade and scrape ONE side against one of your windows for 5-10 minutes. Pretend you've got something on there that you're trying to get off... by the time you're done, that side (believe it or not) will be dull. Then very carefully use it to remove the stripe. Make sure the dull side is the one making contact with the car. There's no way to do it flawlessly, but this way got my car pretty damn close. Goodluck.
EDIT: Use Goo-Gone too... knw I forgot something.
