when they scratch, do they show more gunmetal or silver? my roads suck around here, and i KNOW the rims are gonna get dinged.

i just dont want to be left with multicolor rims...

 

I have gummetal rims in NJ also and I have no scratches, nut one knick from the key to take off the rim and you have to be on top of it to see it.

 

If its a good quality rim then they shouldn't chip easily. I have gunmetal Shu-4's and not a scratch on them. The only scratches are where the lug nuts go on and it does show a bit of silver there but not noticeable with the lugs on.

 

If they scratch pick up some gunmetal touch up paint.
