Default fuel resistor box??

I'm not sure if thats what it is but my fuel injectors are not firing. Does anyone know what these wires hook up to: its on the right side of the engine bay right above the strut tower, its 4 red wires with black stripes on each, with 1 yellow wire with a black stripe. those five wires all hook up in a green plug and I dont know what hooks up to that but I think its keeping me from starting my car. Oh yeah, this is on a 1st gen b16a in a 90 crx hf.

Its the injector resistor box. If your using the obd0 injectors from your HF or 1gen B16 they should be fine. If you have OBD1 injectors from a 92-95 anything this could be your problem. you need to removed this and rewire or swap injectors. If this is the case your running waay to high resistance and injectors may not work and worse fry you ECU. Your using your harness and just added wires correct? The resistor box converts you injectors to higher resistance. The Yellow wire is the main wire then it splits to each of the 4 injector via the 4 red or yellow wires depends on the what box it came from.

if the b16a is obd1 it has peek and hold injectors. if the resistor box is for saurated injectors it will not pulse the injectors. you need either non obd injectors ot the peek and hold resister box.

check to see if the injectors are pulsing by pulling one out and see it fuel sprays out it it wile its still connected.

That green plug should feed the injectors. You should have 12 volts going into and coming out of the box with the ignition on. From there it goes through the green plug to the injector clips, passes throught the injector coils, and the ECU completes the circuit to ground based on the fuel delivery requirements it determines you need. No 12 volts, check the main relay, then start on your wiring.

OK I thought that there was only 1 type of injector resistor box?? And I thought that with either obd-1 or obd-2 that you would just remove the resistor box in order for them to work?? Correct me if I am wrong but I can almost swear that there isnt more than one injector resistor box?? Thats why I thought on any site when talking about like a DPFI to MPFI swap it states that you can use the injector resistor box out ANY Honda there is no where it says "Well with the exception of OBD 1 & 2 resistor boxes those are different in those"

I just got a new repropgrammed pr3 ecu, so I hope the problem isnt in there. Everything else is fine, the injectors are just not firing. I haven't messed with the injectors, they are the original 1st gen b16 injectors. What could I get a injector resistor box off of?

Well for it to plug in correctly a 90-91 Integra, 88-91 CRX-HF/SI or a 89-91 Civic SI. You can use other years from other models but there not gonna look or plug right in.
