Its out in the Beggining of march. Is anybody here gonna try it? I think it comes with the vortech fmu not sure though but it does come with an intercooler.

 

Yeah, unfortunately it comes with an FMU. I'd try it if I was in the market because it's ball bearing. A definate plus!

I'd like to try it on a D-series if it'll fit, or do they make it for the D-series too. I haven't seen it for the D-series yet. Anyone see it for the mighty little D?

yeah i have the dseries kit..... ball bearing is the way to go too. apexi markets their kits to rape their customers. i bought the turbo kit which is a basic kit, then i had to purchaser the intercooler kit, then the fuel setup (waste of money) which was holley 255 intake fuel pump, vortech, missing link, then lastly the apexi blowoff valve and gauges.

 

What does the flange opening look like on the Apexi turbo manifold? Is it round? Thanks!

 

the opening of the manifold is retangle.

 

please measure the

1) diameter of the wastegate flap...should be around 25-35mm

2) the diameter of the wastegate port that the flap covers. you have to disconnect the arm off the WG flapper to measure this. please let me know if you can do this thanks

 

is it going to be external or internal wg? yea like tuned at 5psi you could get 250hp., probably crank but that's still good. not sure if those numbers are correct though. - found out the answer to my own question, nevermind

the turbo looks reaaaally small to me
i dunno, but it's bb so i must spool like crazy
