First of all, to Mark (goern-R) for the use of this camera for the in-car footage (that's him in the passenger seat) and for shooting the out-of-car footage of the 1000 PAX run. He also did the video transfer for me. Thanks again!

Anyway, this is one of #231's last events before I sold it, and it was the last first-place PAX finish. At the end of the in-car segment, you can hear me complain that it doesn't feel good. That's because my brakes were cooked to **** the previous track event and I was having to use them a lot more than I wanted.

It's about 18mb, and it's in .qt format. If anyone cares to do me the favor of converting it to .avi, .asf, .mpg, or any non-mac format I can work with, I'll split the segments so that it's a faster DL. Anyway, comments welcome. Please let me know if this doesn't work.

And I'd blame you for the file format, but it wasn't your computer. Plus I couldn't have done it myself so I can't complain. However, I do need to get you that miniDV tape of the Firebird HPDE in the R to see if you can put it on disc. ****, that video is 11 months old

 

Where are you guys going to be on the Jan 19th.... Tucson or at the Firebird practice day. I got the whole damn weekend off for the first time in like 2 months.
