hi guys,

i was just checkin out bigger throttle bodies ie . 66 mm or something and was wondering if they are worth the 300-400$ investment? i have a stock itr motor with just cam gears/fpr, intake, and exhaust. thats about it. woudl u guys rather get a throttle body or get a jdm header since my motor is jdm but i have the usdm header for it. thanks guys

 

get the header first..a bigger throttle body will only add a couple of top end horsepower..its one of those mods you get when you have a built motor and there is really nothing else to get or if you do some porting then thats were it comes in handy also..

hrmm question is... jdm header for about 300 used or a new jg header for about 500$ ? i also have the opportunity to guy spoon cams for about the same price but i want reliability too. i know cams are reliable but i want to run stock valvetrain ( yes i know u can run stock valvetrain with the spoons but the duration and lift is somewhat higher) . decisions, decisions....

 

get the JDM 4-1 header first..great header for a great price..get cams later when you have enough $$ to get cam gears and tuning cause without those things you wont see the full potential out of the cams..
