i was looking at my g/f's '99 jetta the other day and i noticed her hood is propped open by a little shock....similar to the ones the hold an integras hatch open... i was wondering if a well placed shock would hold the hood open. if anyone has done this by chance...or if you have any suggestions about where or how i could put this on i would appreciate it
