Default 4g civic si IM vs. d16z6 IM

im in the process of doing putting a z6 into my 91 dx. I did a search and couldn't find anything about this. But my question is...can I use a 4g si engine wiring harness on a z6 IM. I am using the correct injectors.

well u dont use the si harness ull use ur stock dx harness with some added on peices to make a hybrid harness.....the z6 mani will work fine u loose some bottome end with it but top end u gain some the a6 has more of a torquey feeling to it but not much difference

so the only way to make it work is to conver the dx harness to 4 point. but the si harness already has the 4 point. so thats my ques. will the plugs on the si harness plug up to the z6 manifold. that way i dont have to modify the dx harness. thanks guys

thats what i said.....
u can not use the si harness cause it wont plug onto ur dx.....rear mpfi swap posts to learn how to do this its not hard the a6 manifold is the same as teh si except that u use the z6 throtle body or a b series throtle body....u cant use the a6 one though.....u can use the si injecters in it and u use the z6 eacv and ur old plug will plug into it

What people are trying to tell you is you can not use the Si harness because it does not plug into the DX Firewall harness. There's accually LESS modification required to convert the DX harness than there is to try to make the Si Engine harness work with the DX firewall harness. Do the Conversion yourself or get someone more qualified to do it. Like someone who's accually done it before. If done properly, the DX conversion can be very clean and reliable. when I did mine, I was able to do it with NO splices under the hood, and I removed all of the loom and replaced it with all new after I had all of the wires routed. So it looks totally stock.

you mentioned that you have A6 Injectors and ECU, do you have the A6 Inj resistor box, and Distributor?
