don't you void warranty (if any) and insurance if you remove air bags or any other stock sfaety devices?

not if he wears a seatbelt. i hate airbags.

i pull the fuses on my mom's cars with airbags, she's small and sits too close to the steering wheel to have an airbag go off, probably kill her.
i've saw nothing but bad from airbags, they only save people that don't wear seatbelts, but still cause lots of harm.

Airbags are like seatbelts. In some accidents they save you, in some they kill you. I have heard of people being thrown from cars because of no seat belt, and I've heard of seat belts causing broken necks, etc. It's basically a coin toss, because you can't choose your accidents.

It's quite easy. I installed a Sparco wheel in my car last month. It uses the same hub as a Momo. You have to pop the 2 covers off the side of the steering wheel. One cover is over your cruise control buttons. There is another cover on the other side. There will be 1 torx (sp??) bolt on each side. Take both bolts out and the air bag will come right out. O yeah, disconnect your battery AND take off the bottom cover of the steering wheel and unplug the air bag, there is a red 'dead' plug on the bottom cover you take off to plug it into. Once the air bag is out, there is 1 14mm bolt holding the steering wheel on. Take that bolt out, then use a steering wheel pulled to pull the wheel off. Install the new hub, may have to do some trimming on the black plastic piece around the wheel, i had to. I also had to use a washer under the bolt so the hub wouldn't move any. Then screw the new wheel to the hub.
