Default Slave Cylinder On Civic

I was just about to by my first car but the mechanic checking it out found a couple of problems with it.

One of these problems was that the slave cylinder for the clutch is leaking. How big of a deal is this to fix and is it expensive. Im buying the car from a dealer so he should do it for free but I am just wondering. Also how big of a deal is it if I drive the car for about 15 minutes to my house with the leak?

By the way the car is a 93' Civic EX Coupe.

It's not expensive to fix if you can do it yourself, but based on your question I doubt you could do it. It's not a big deal either.

You could demand that he fix it, but he might not.

Unless the slave is POURING fluid, it won't be a big deal to drive the car a significant number of miles.

I couldent or wouldent want to do it myself in fear that I would mess it up.

He should because he gives a 30 day bumper to bumper waranty on his cars.

If I took it to a dealer how long would it take to fix?

If they have the slave cylinder in stock, 1 hour or less.
