my tires wore out and i'm in need of new ones. i'm debating over Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 and Nitto NT555. any suggestions on which one is better? i'm looking for a tire that has long treadwear. i'm currently running Nankang 225/40/18s. (i suggest nobody ever get Nankang tires).

I guess someone does you them. I used Parada's and my friend used the Spec2's. Noisy tire, but decent in bad weather. My friend has them on his Celica and drives all year round in Cleveland, Ohio on 17's.

i got a hook-up on toyo proxies for 105 a pair mounted.

next I was going kumho ecsta 712's or whatver they called em.

205/40/17 K 712 for 300bucks no tax..
it's that cheaper?
yeah..mounted, weight and balanced.

 

I just put Dunlop Sp Sport A2 on my car and I love them.

 

still on stock rims and tires supposed to last 50K or so

 

real performance tires don't last long, hell they don't even have tread life warranties.

50k on stock tires is damn good though, cause they're probably supposed to last around 40-45k. Your obviuosly not driving hard enough.

 

my stock tires(on my beater) last around 45k before i need a new sets.
it's a v6, gas guzzler POS and all that..
I am pretty happy if i can squeeze out 35K on my kumho..

 

all depends upon how you DRIVE the car my dad had michilin pilots on his dodge spirit and they lasted 42K
