Not sure about the B18C5's but King Motorsports did have a few B16B's from Mugen not too long ago.

From King's website:

Just in from Japan: B16B Engines!!
B16B Civic Type-R engines. BRAND NEW! Complete from top to bottom. Perfect for your JDM needs. Only 3 engines are available. One is the factory standard spec and two are built by Mugen to FIA N-1 specs. Please call or email us for pricing and further questions.

for real i think something is not right unless this motor is built to some race specs like the b16b...I mean a spoon engine makes more sense because spon makes all sorts of components not just bolt ons but mugen i dont know??

he gets it tommorow so ill try and get a few pics.

LoL - If it has the stamp "B18c5" on it and it's been supposedly prepped by Mugen, I wouldn't want anything to do with it. Why would anyone in Japan need to import a US spec Type R engine to prep it and then bring it back to America?

...I wonder what mugen actually DOES to the real ones though...

A full Mugen equipped engine? I can't imagine, must cost more than the whole damn car.

B18C. No difference form the GSR motor. You have to look for the PR3 on the head, or if the intake manifold is the original, then its easy.

The code for a JDM Motor is just "B18C".

I would prefer stage 2 or 3 of the complete JUN engines... They are around 8500.- but numbers are great. Shipped two months after ordering.

I`ve thought of this since my engine got wrecked but decided to do with a JDM Honda OEM b18c again.

I`ve often heard of Mugen building complete engines but I never took a longer look
