Lockhart or Pitbull Stands
Im looking to purchase a new pair of stands to get my CBR off the ground. I have one for the rear but want to buy the same set. Which brand is better? I have never used front and rear together before. Which end goes up first, front wheel or rear wheel?
Advice: How come sometimes my bike seems crooked on my rear stand? Any suggestions to see if i'm lifting the bike wrong or maybe placing it wrong on the swingarm?

I like the pitbulls better, they are a bit more expensive than the lockhart stands but they are beefier. As far as raising the bikes, rear usually goes first, then the front.
I've got the lockhart, In hindsight I'd rather have the pitbulls. I wouldn't worry about "matching" them. They're designed to work with some plane deviation, so an exact height match isn't entierly necessary.
Rear goes up first.
As for the crooked: Spools provide a bit sturdier connection than the rubbery L-supports. I expect you're using the l-supports. If you're using spools and it's still wobbly, then the stand's probably tweaked somehow, or you're doing it on an uneven/unsolid surface. If you're using the L-supports, then try to find a common point on the swingarm and put both of the supports there before you swing the stand down. WHERE it is on the swingarm isn't entierly important as long as it clears any of the parts, and it's aligned with itself.

PIT BULL kicks ***!!!! I love my pit bull stand. Way beefy! It works as two stands in one. Just filp the ends for spool or no spool applications.

Not sure on your bike, but some bikes (like 929) need a special kit to make the bike stand up even. The 929 has an uneven swingarm.
