Default Ls/Vtec head gasket q's

Ok I know to use the LS head gasket. I want a 2 layer head gasket. All I can find in 2 layer is for the V-tecs and that wont work. So can I use a OEM 3 layer and just leave one out or how can I do this correctly.

omg plz do not listen to any of them... what u do is take out the rivets... and sepparate the head gasket .. There is a metal layer in the middle and u need to clean it with some break cleaner... then buy some mr gasket copper spray... hang up the gasket and spary it on both sides with the copper spray.. .wait a few minutes till its tackey then install it.. its easy and bumps compression a few points.. just like a spoon hg
