Strange problem on a friend's sol at 2500rpm.... (stock d-series engine)
Well, the problem is... when he hits 2500rpm (the car is not modded in the least), the thing stumbles and then dies. He has to turn the ignition off and back on, (and I assume at this point he's still rolling) and he just lets off the clutch in like 4th or 5th and it starts right back up. I've NEVER heard of this type of problem in my 5 or 6 years of playing with datsuns/hondas/nissans/subarus. I'm stumped. I figured if anyone knew what this was or how to alleviate it, they'd be here.
If anyone would like to take a crack at this, and needs more info, just let me know.
Strange for sure (to me anyways).

does ti have a remote starting system on it?? i have seen things like this happen with a remote start.. although we could not figure out how or why.. but it did
Nah, no remote start. I'm really not getting any answers from anyone I ask. He's taking it to a dealer, if anyone gives a damn I'll post what the cause was.
Thanks for being the only reply though
