Default 90 accord ex, spark plug and wires covered in oil

1990 accord ex

My car has trouble starting lately so i did a tune up today. When replacing the spark plugs, I noticed that there was oil all over the spark plugs(all four of them) and bottom of the wires. I don't know how the oil got to the plugs and wires. Please help me fix this problem, I hope my piston rings aren't shot.

sorry. I did a search on recent, and didn't do it on archive.

SAME THING HAPPEND TO MY 91. CHECK YOUR O-RINGS ON YOUR VALVE COVER, THEY TEND TO FALL APART. A NEW VALVE COVER GASKET SET WILL RUN YOU $14.00 FROM THE DEALER. EASY TO REPLACE.
