Default Just finished turbo crx

I just finished installing the b20 and turbo in my brother's car. Not much room in the crx engine bay, I had to hack the front mount bracket to get the charge piping to fit.

And here's a pic of mine

What do yout think?

Ditto, props from a fellow turbo-hybrid-CRX owner.

Don't run over about 10~12 psi on that B20. They're notorious for cracking sleeves with little abuse. Tuning is key!

The crx will run around 6psi until he gets a safc or smc and larger injectors, haven't driven it hard yet. It has a rev hard manifold sprayed flat aluminum with vht spray paint.

My integra is just a stock block with a t3/t4. Dyno'd at 240hp at 8 psi.

You said it

Brad: You need a Zdyne SECU and some DSM 450cc injectors for the setup.

Thanks for all the compliments. The integra has a inline pro manifold with a t3/to4e .57 compressor and .63 stage 3 on the exhaust side. The crx has my old rev hard manifold with a smaller t3/t4, not sure what size though, it spooled up 500 rpms faster when I was using it compared to the one I run now.
It took me like a whole day to make the downpipe and another day to make the charge pipe coming off of the turbo because of the tight spaces. Everything barely fits with like no room for play. And the cooling fan is on the otherside, it's a hayden fan from pep boys, it fits like a glove in the front. Also, the zdyne sounds nice, but it's way too expensive for the crx's budget.

very nice
im about to put a old drag turbo kit on my 91 HB
I just wonted to know what motor mounts are on the crx
where you got the pipe coming from the IC going into the AEM
and is it alright to put the intake filter that close to the turbo

Thanks

That helps out alot, I had to do it to mine.

Well a Zdyne is abit pricy, but what more expensive, a Zdyne or a blown engine?

<-- Who's **** about always running a standalone on turbo'd cars

The crx uses the older hasport mounts with the orange bushings. I made the pipe coming off the turbo from two 2" u bends, it goes to a dsm intercooler on the side then up to the aem. There's not much room to put the intake filter anywhere else, I don't think it will be a problem except for maybe sucking in hot air from the radiator fan. I didn't see a need to relocate the battery, everything fit well enough with the battery in place.
