When I first get into my car whenever I turn the wheel there is this squeeking noise. After the car had been running for 30 sec+ there are no noises. Anyone know what this could be? It sounds quite bad and I'd really like to get it taken car of.

 

where is the squeeking? engine bay? if so....it's probably a belt

 

sounds dumb but i had a similiar noise in my Si. turned out the plastic cover around the steering column was rubbing the inside of the steering column, after a minute or so the plastic would adjust and the noise would stop. 99.9% chance that is not the problem, but its worth a shot.

 

I'll check that out tomarrow. It could be it, thats the general area the noise is coming from. Thanks.

 

slipping belts squeal. my car makes all sorts of noises. too lazy to take care of em.
